football was a major, major sport
baseball. baseball was probably the biggest sport of all.
also basketball was a big sport.
soccer was big in great britan and still is today
hockey was just getting started but now it is a amazingly huge sport.

a big sport was also lacrosse. it is a ancient sport but people still love it today.

the 1930s inspired sports a lot. since it was right after the golden decade people were really into sports. they're were people who went to almost every game.
baseball was huge because of all of the fans. people had to watch games by going to them because nobody had t.vs. the sports were so popular in the 30s
