There were many different poets in the 1930's, and as you probably know, the 30's was the time of the Great Depression. So, many poets tried to brighten people's life's.

Writing:
Writing in the 30s was a good way to express feelings about the depression. Many people enjoyed it.  Lots of writing in the 1930s was known as travel writing. People who were away from home and traveling, would write to there families at home about what was going on. Here are some famous travel artists:
